There’s a difference between knowing the bible versus knowing the Word of God and there’s a difference knowing scripture versus knowing Truth. The latter one is a Person compared to the prior which is ink on paper. We were created for a relationship with the Living Word not aggressive memorization. Truth has a name, Jesus.
Scripture interpreted by scripture leads to law and ultimately to death. Scripture interpreted by Truth (Jesus) leads to grace and ultimately to life.
