10th week! part 2
37 Jesus said to him, “ ‘You shall love the LORD your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.’[a] 38 This is the first and great commandment. 39 And the second is like it: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’[b]

You can only love others to the extent you learn to love YOURSELF. You can only love yourself to the extent you learn to ACCEPT who you are to Him. You can only accept how God sees you… when you ABANDON your value system. At the end of the day, our value system can not be defined by OUR accomplishments and failures but by the FINISHED work of the cross (Christ).
The sooner we get it into our system that we are LOVED, SANCTIFIED, ALREADY MADE WHOLE, RIGHTEOUS, BLAMELESS and that we actually have WORTH ”IN” Christ, the sooner we can love others like Jesus did. And besides, you can only give out what you only have, right? 1 Corinthians 13:4-7
