The current tension with the church isn’t against the world but is against those who have the same heavenly Father but their mother is law, not grace.  It’s grace that allows humanity to take off their old rags of condemnation and put on new garments of praise.  It’s grace that allows us to be FREE from the dominion of sin and it transfers us to a new kingdom.  It’s grace that calls us saints and not sinners.  It’s grace that makes us children and not orphans.  However, the law only does the opposite.  The law will always persecute and subjugate those under grace.  Someone tell the church we are under the new covenant, throw out the old!  This is the good news!

 ²⁹ At that time the son born according to the flesh persecuted the son born by the power of the Spirit. It is the same now. ³⁰ But what does Scripture say? “Get rid of the slave woman and her son, for the slave woman’s son will never share in the inheritance with the free woman’s son.”^[f] 31 Therefore, brothers and sisters, we are not children of the slave woman, but of the free woman.
